That's all they told us. Not that once the blood cells are destroyed and your heart stops, in that very moment evolution begins.
The missing blood cells are replaced by stronger ones. Sometimes creating abilities. Invisibility, Telepathy, Psychokinesis to name a few. But by that time your heart has stopped for so long you're better off as dead, doomed to be buried alive. At least that's what you think.
